The gate to the deck fell off the hinges the first time we used it. My only suggestion is that some routine maintenance be conducted before too long. This is a wonderful property and we would stay again. We had an amazing time waking up to the views of the glass-like lake, boating every day thanks to the convenient dock, cooking wonderful meals in the big kitchen, and lounging on the deck by the fire every night. We rented this home and its guest house for a staff retreat with 11 people. Keep in mind that chain and traction laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains! Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. For cancellations within 30 days of arrival date the entire amount is non-refundable for all reservations. Cancellations of reservations of 7 nights or more, prior to 30 days before your arrival date incur a $200 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee.
